Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What are the main advantages of an integrated servo motor?
The integrated design combines the motor, encoder, and driver into one unit, significantly reducing wiring complexity, saving installation space, and improving overall system reliability.
Q2: Which communication protocols are supported?
The PMM series supports high-performance communication including EtherCAT, CANopen, and RS485 (Modbus), allowing for seamless integration into various industrial automation systems.
Q3: How does the motor handle emergency stopping or power loss?
The motor features an optional built-in brake with gravity recognition. This ensures the load stopping position is accurate and prevents the load from dropping during a power start or external force interference.
Q4: Can these motors work without external sensors for zeroing?
Yes, the motor supports efficient origin return at high speeds without the need for an external origin sensor, which saves wiring and simplifies mechanical design.
Q5: What industries are suitable for these motors?
They are widely used in medical machinery, automatic sweepers, AGV delivery cars, industrial robotic arms, automated production lines, and logistics transportation.
Q6: How does the integrated servo motor cope with overload?
The driver includes a built-in protection mechanism. If the load exceeds capacity, the driver adjusts torque or triggers a protection alarm to avoid damage. Users can also customize overload parameters.
